Its case has the quintessential retro styled tonneau case. Both the bezel sides and the case sides have high-polish facets that contrast and enhance the look of the satin and sunburst finish elsewhere.
Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 1011 movement officially certified as a chronometer and with a quick-setting date and with 23 jewels.
The ultra-thin automatic movement measures only 4.25mm thick. It has a thinner rotor to reduce stress on winding parts.
It has all of its original part and has just finished a true expertly done restoration - it presents as a 9.8 out of 10.
Its case presents as gorgeous mint with perfectly crisp facets on the lugs and bezel. Our photos couldn't dit it justice. Its dial has been meticulously custom refinished in a deep lavendar hue - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration its chronometer movement has been serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is running strong and very true, keeping time nearly on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch we have installed a new leather band and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
