Repurposed denim fabrics make this courthouse steps pattern shine. The backside is a wholecloth of vintage mattress ticking.  

Hand-quilted with Japanese Sashiko cotton thread, padded with cotton batting, and trimmed with hand-stitched double-fold binding. 

The design and colors are inspired by an Abstract American quilt from the late 1800's.
